Aligning teams around a shared product vision

An ambitious startup aiming to transform childcare staffing, this multi-platform product spanned mobile, web, APIs and complex third-party integrations over a nine-month engagement.

Founded by former childcare professionals, the platform connected nurseries with temporary and permanent childcare staff, creating a marketplace with multiple user groups and operational requirements.

Working closely with stakeholders and a cross-functional team, I helped establish product and design direction, mentor the team and navigate competing priorities throughout delivery.

The project required extensive prioritisation, expectation management and close collaboration around complex integrations and automations.

To support launch quality, I introduced a persona-based QA framework that enabled wider team participation in testing, helping uncover issues earlier and improving confidence ahead of release.
