Trek Superfly 8

I bought this bike second-hand back in 2018 as a replacement for my old and ageing Trek Paragon. As a 29er with a solid spec and excellent SID forks, the Superfly has been an amazing purchase.

The frame is pretty standard alu, but the curved seat tube tucks the rear axle underneath the rider, making it climb responsively. I added a shorter Race Face stem to bring the cockpit a bit closer, and ever since the bike fits like a glove, making it feel incredibly secure and in control.

I also kept my old Hope Evo 2/Stans wheelset from the Paragon, with the intention of keeping the original spec Bontrager Mustang wheels (XD Driver) as a spare.

My next upgrade: Adding a pair of skinwalls, either Maxxis or the new Vittoria line, which looks excellent next to the stealth black.
